Well, I don't live in Alaska anymore, and currently don't live in Maine so I have no vote on them. One can only hope that voters in those states remember their senators votes on this when it comes time for them to be re-elected.

Wow, that's what I get for believing a media report that Collins was a no vote. Her speech today was probably the best defense of judge Kavanaugh that I have heard from any republican! My apologies to senator Collins for being duped by the media.

Not only did she give a great speech, she justified all of her decisions, and explained to everyone, why due process matters. She had been in a meeting with several sexual assault victims. And was able to compartmentalize, facts from emotions.

Her speech should make all of the Democrats who did nothing but try to destroy a good man, hang their heads in shame, but I'm not holding my breath.

Normal Americans may decide to go after Senators who continue to fund Abortion Inc with taxpayer money.

This whole thing became such a circus that I won't believe that Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed until the vote has been finalized in his favor and he's been sworn in to SCOTUS.
Dems are going to continue to fight, they know Ruth Vader Grinch ain't gonna make it much longer so they understand there's another seat coming available soon.

As the stupidity and clown show subsided on Friday, half wit Nancy Pelosi had to get her 15 minutes in the week's spotlights by comparing Kavanaugh to Kim Jong Un.

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy responded: "Billy-Goat brain, mockingbird mouth. That's just typical -- that's just symbolic of what's going on."

We have now seen race, gender, economic status, religious beliefs and uncorroborated sexual accusations weaponized for political purposes. They all elicit emotional responses while disregarding facts. Scary times indeed.

Unless the democrats come up with something in the last hour the nomination is over and we have a new Justice.

I am not doubting that Dr. Ford had an incident 35 years ago but the mind plays tricks. Recently a letter in the Wall Street Journal pointed to the number of men released from prison because of DNA proof that they were not guilty of rape even though the women in court were 100% certain that "he did it". They were not necessarily lying, but the mind plays tricks.

I graduated from high school in 1960 and when I look at my yearbook I can only recognize one person, my picture. The mind plays tricks.

Having been in a civil court where I was slandered and defamed (I won if you ask) I can tell you that Justice Kavanaugh will now be a different man than he was before. These types of slander WILL influence his decisions in the future. He probably will not be as fair minded as he was before. He may not knowingly lean a different way now but he will. The dems may regret this assault.

Finally, thank you Susan Collins for presenting things so clearly and eloquently. Lisa Murkowski, do men in Alaska not stand up and fight when a grizzly bear attacks and is about to destroy their family? Shame on you. We expect our judges to be human otherwise they can not share the human experience.

I have seen nothing or heard nothing that makes me think something actually happened to Ford. I have seen or heard nothing that makes me inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt. There are many things that make me think this was 100% politically motivated and fabricated.
