I haven't received anything from Austin ,except that green card from the US Postal service with the stamp that reads RECEIVED. I haven't gotten a thing in the mail or otherwise. I called Austin and was met with down right hostility over the phone. They were only able to tell me that they've got my fingerprints,application and by me receiving the green card from the post office. ...I KNOW THEY HAVE MY OTHER PAPERWORK. Can anyone tell me what stage I am in at the moment? When I attempt to check my status, it still has the generic message on it"please allow time for your application to be processed "
They had it since 2/28.....

There is nothing to do, but be patient. They are overwhelmed. I don't think they ever expected this many applications and they are doing their level best to get them all cleared up.

So i keep trying to call dps but no luck with the number on the website. I see some people are somehow able to get in contact with someone. HOW? What number?

I am on the same boat. Sometimes your supporting documents may be lost in the emailbox and it may take weeks to retrieve them. So that is another issue that can set you back.

Our records indicate your license was selected for issue on 04/15/2016. Allow several days for printing and preparation for mailing. After mailing date, your license should arrive between 7-14 business days.

If it has been more than 30 business days since printing, please notify the department. Replacements cannot be requested until after 30 business days have passed from the printing date.

Yes I had sent an email asking for a status update and once they finally replied today this is what I got.
