Well, I got a phone call yesterday from DPS after I contacted my State Senator's (John Carona) office again. They told me they dropped the plastic in the mail yesterday! Naturally, I rushed to the computer to see what my online status said....Processing Application...ugh
I logged on again this morning, "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"
FINALLY!!!
74nova and I were on exactly the same timeline...sent in the same time and approved the same time...
Now to wait on the mail...

Well for Harris county I sent my application in on the 2/21/09, check cashed 2/27/09. This is still "processing." Now the good news.
Idaho dropped off application April 4/3/2009, plastic in hand 5/22/2009. Not so worried about my Texas license now it can get here when it gets here.

02/23/09 -- Packet mailed USPS w/sig confirmation
02/25/09 -- Confirmed delivery in Austin
03/23/09 -- PIN received
05/30/09 -- Application Complete
XX/XX/09 -- Plastic in hand!

It's here! Really here! Got home and it was in the mail, grabbed the wife and kid and off to Wally World for a little walk.
