01/30/13 Certified mail signed for by DPS
02/19/13 Status changed to documents received
02/19/13 Currently undergoing background check
3/20/13 Background check complete - manufacturing pending.

Mine mailed the 14th as well as others who received it yesterday I really hope today is the day.

Called the dps today to find out why i am still in backround check after 4 weeks and she told me my license was already printed and waiting to be mailed but the site still says backround check -in review.Guess they dont update till the end of the week.

Same here...almost! I called to find out why I've been in background review for 6 weeks.
They told me that I was still in background review...

Wife says that my permit is sitting at home waiting for me to get out of work. Big thanks for everyone who answered my questions. 55 days mailbox to mailbox.

FINALLY - In the Mail TODAY (3/21) Mailed app in on 31 Jan so that makes all of feb = 28 + 21 = 49 days mailbox to mailbox.

1/4/2013 - Completed/submitted online app
1/26/2013 - Completed fingerprints
1/27/2013 - Completed CHL Class
1/28/2013 - Mailed CHL packet certified mail
1/31/2013 - DPS signed for CHL packet
2/19/2013 - DPS status finally changed to Application received and Background Check: Under Review
3/14/2013 - Background check COMPLETE!
3/15/2013 - Manufacturing
3/17/2013 - Mailed
3/21/2013 - Plastic in hand!
Just about 2 1/2 months from start to finish. Not bad considering the current state of gun issues and the fact I'm recently transplanted from out of state.

Well it fianally updated today to backround check -completed,took 32 days.Am now in manufacturing .hope
fully will be mailed out this weekend.

Emailed paperwork Jan. 20th
All of the steps seem to follow all the mailed in ones
Received March 21.......59 days
Email seemed to be about same as mailed.
Did Wally walk last night.

Im the OP, you can see when i mailed my packet in an earlier post. As of right now nothing has changed.
