I have a question to ask. Once it hit day 60 and my status still shows background under review what do I do next because it seems like its heading that way.

That is when I would go either call them 1-800-224-5744 or email them at chl@txdps.state.tx.us

60 days exactly and still waiting on my fingerprints and BG check.
This is getting very old very fast. I think I'll email them this evening. Let's just hope that it's not too much longer.

Ok so finally received the letter about my missing photos after waiting for two weeks because I moved. I sent the photos certified mail on Sat and now just waiting for the the photos to get mailed. 1 1/2 months and still waiting. Congrats to everyone who has received their plastics.

Well I checked my status and my background check was completed today! HOORAY ME!!!!!

I'm glad to hear that everyone is getting results! 
I sent an email, but If my status doesn't change by the end of the week I'll call and find out exactly what's taking so long.

Wife and I mailed off packet to DPS on June 28th. She got hers on Aug 6. Expecting mine in the mail today? CHL "mailed" status showed up Monday per the online DPS site.
