No, no knew pictures yet...

Tasco...Now thats funny raght thar!!!

I do have that Bushnell 10x scope for sale...Mil Dot reticle etc etc etc...$200, they normally go for about $250...

I think this thing would be good for an AR type rifle...I will include the shims that fit in the 30mm rings I got from Barrett, that way someone could use the same diameter rings for this one if thats all you got...

I'll pay for the shipping...You cain't beat that...

Just a quick update from my last post...

I moved my red dot back 3 notches on the rail and got a photo with the OKC M9 bayonet mounted.

Sorry for the somewhat odd wide angle perspective on the photo. There's no room in the kitchen (the countertop is really the only place to get decent photos of rifles at the house) to move the camera back any further, so I was shooting this at 18mm.

I have been told by a pro photographer that he uses the bath tub for small items like guns. The surrounding of shiny white surface bounces light real well. I havent tried it yet,

Well, I've already posted a thread about it, but this here is my wife's new toy which my son and I built for her a couple of weeks ago.....

Image
  • SOG Armory Lower
  • DPMS Lower Parts Kit
  • Yankee Hill Machine assembled upper
  • Daniel Defense bolt/carrier assembly
  • ER Shaw M4 profile 1:9 barrel with A2 front sight
  • A.R.M.S. #40L-P flip up rear BUIS
  • Vortex Strikefire red dot sight with attachable 2X magnifier
  • Burris XTR 1" high 30mm ring (this optic cowitness perfectly with the BUIS)
  • DPMS Commercial buffer tube and mounting kit
  • MOE buttstock and handguard in OD Green
  • 5 30 round PMAGs with window, and 2 20 round PMAGs
I love my wife.

The whole thing with optics mounted and an empty 30 round mag weighs a svelte 7.6 lbs on my trusty Weight Watchers calibrated scale. (Most rifles weigh more than we think they do until we actually put them on a scale.) Seat of the pants impression is of less weight than that, and it's very well balanced.

I've got studio lights and all with plans to get a muslin or something for a seamless white backdrop on the dining room table. That will solve the problem, it's just that we've got loads of boxes taking up all that space at the moment. We're going through all our stuff to donate/trash what we don't need, so space for studio shots is at a premium right now.

I haven't posted in a while so I need to update my collection.

Image

Left to right:

Springfield M1A SOCOM with a VLTOR stock and cluster rail. It has an EoTech that has the drop compensation dots and a Surefire light with GG&G foregrip.

Remington 870 Marine Magnum. It's not silver but it gets the job done. Surefire light, ghost ring sight with tritium front sight, a Surefire light foregrip, and a pistol grip buttstock with AR style collapsible stock.

(The Wifes) Stag arms AR15 which is just a M4 copy for her to practice with (she's in the Air Force). It has an Aimpoint M2 and a Surefire universal weapon sight. flip up rear and a GG&G foregrip.

FN Herstal PS90 with a tri-rail and a Burris Fast Fire and a Surefire G2 LED flashlight.

Vector AK-47 with a UTG quad rail and a Magpul angled grip. It has also has the SAW pistol grip and a Wolf Eyes light.

RRA AR15 (can't remember which model). It has the Nikon 1-4 power scope designed for the AR rifles. UTG foregrip mounted underneath a Surefire quad rail with a Surefire light. It has a GG&G front gas block replacement flip up site and rear flip up as well as a Hogue pistol grip.

Robinson XCR with a Surefire M900A GG&G flip up front and rear sight, Magpul pistol grip and an Eotech. Oh and Magpul rail covers.

Finally in front is a DPMS AR10 with the heavy stainless barrel and a Leupold LRT scope. It has a Tangodown grip mounted to a YHM quad rail. A Harris bipod helps with the weight. :fire

I like it a lot and have never had a malfunction no matter what ammo I use.
