Texas City range is a first class facility. The staff was very friendly personable. The range is beautifully set up and the firing line is well thought out and shooter friendly. The range officers do a great job. They are very safety conscious while being very polite.

Lots of lead went downrange and it seems as if everyone had fun. I certainly did.
+1 Great time.

El Gato, thanks for letting me shoot your Colt 1911; may have
forced a purchasing decision. Miss Jeanie will love that.

Thanks again guys.

Same here! It was wonderful to put some more faces with names. I really enjoyed the shooting and the conversation. It was a pleasure as always. I am lucky to have become involved in a forum with such genuine, like-minded people.
Kinny and I had a great time shooting in the military rifle competition! I will add this contest to my monthly list of things I must attend!
Dustin, Thanks for letting me shoot your Sigma...I really enjoyed it as I have never shot one before. Take care and let's do it again!

I had a great time meeting all the people that came. I enjoyed the range, and for a few dollars more I went ahead and joined it. Big thanks to EL GATO! for all his help and allowing me to shoot his shotgun trying out the skeet range, if I had been shooting at real birds, I wouldn't have had enough for a lunch let alone a meal. Again great meeting all. thanks

Sorry I missed it. Saturday night i went out with my parents for my dads birthday and earlier in the week my GF's computer crashed so i spent the morning fixing that and the afternoon going to dinner.

So when are we doing this again???

Fun times indeed. I crashed after I got home that day. lol. It was nice meeting everyone. Even though I suck at the rifle match, this lets me know I need more practice. lol. I've since bought a Bushnell spotting scope, and I'll be trying it out this coming weekend at 100 yards. I'll try to make it out again every 3rd saturday of each month.

Kinny,
Let's get together and practice. I think I am going to shoot in Texas City on Sunday if you feel like driving down. The following weekend I am going to shoot at ASC. Take care.
