Agreed.
I don't get the whole chicken wing thing.
Just my opinion though.

Me neither. We went there because my son often hangs out there after work (he gets off work pretty late), and we decided to meet him for a very late dinner.

I am writing a letter to the Great Wolf Lodge as we speak. Hey, please post their website or something so I'll know where to write to. Thanks.
Please write a letter to the valley view mall.

I let them know my family and I will no longer visit. The dollar is a powerful tool.

I spent the weekend at GWL this spring with the wife and two kids......and hated the place. Crowded, bad (and expensive) food, and other than waterparking it had not much to entertain. I am actually happy they are giving me a reason to cancel any return trips!
I am sure that these decisions are all based on liability insurance or similar reasoning rather than a position on concealed weapons.

Just found this subject. . . .
Composed and fired off a letter to them for mailing tomorrow:
--------------------
Chief Executive Officer
Great Wolf Resorts, Inc
1400 East Hwy. 26
Grapevine, TX 76051
I was recently made aware of your 30.06 sign of the Texas Penal Code, the sign which prohibits handgun concealed carry into your facility by legally licensed persons.
Whups! So much for my plans to take my five granddaughters on a “spending spree” celebration at your resort. You insult my intelligence as a law-abiding citizen of this state, and as a retired military officer.
How sad. . . .
Sincerely yours,
--------------------------
Again, as I said---
How sad. . . . .

Not me, but most people who put these kind of signs up are not the kind that would care to reply to such sound logic.

Concealed handgun licensees are among the most law abiding citizens in our state. We have been investigated by both the state and federal government, we have never been convicted of any felony and have no misdemeanor convictions in the last ten years. We have gone through training at personal expense in order to obtain our licenses.
i added one more sentence: *****HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT YOUR "OTHER" CUSTOMERS*****????

After repeatedly receiving the same email (albeit with different signatures) I'd soon ignore them.
Wouldn't sending in an original email have greater impact?

This is what I just sent them . It has come to my attention that a 30.06 no CHL sign has appeared at your entrance. You should reconsider this. This is Texas and CHL holders have increased in huge numbers in the last couple of years. Many of your customers are CHL holders and most refuse to do business where they are not welcome, especially us. I was trained, tested , and licensed by the state and we won't go or do business where I cannot protect my family and myself. Only the uninformed believe they are safer in places where there are no CHL's. I assure you criminals will ignore your sign and bring their guns in anyway. You were on my short list of vacation ideas. Not anymore. Thank you
