Probably...I'd pay it and keep on doing what I'm doing. It's the way I feel safest. It's $25-$50. The $200+ ones are in reference to child safety seat violations.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the odds of a LEO stopping another LEO for a traffic violation are pretty slim.
That being said, you may "feel" safer but it is a statistical fact that you are safer in any car with your seat belt ON. I won’t point out the obvious hypocrisy in enforcing the law while breaking it at the same time. That may be construed as cop bashing. Good luck out there

Maybe I'm new to reading but this looks like you pointed it out. I already said I don't write seat belt violations.
If you guys want to make a big deal about something - driving around without headlights on at 3 am is illegal too. As is driving on the left side of a two way street. These are also things that regularly done when patrolling residential and industrial areas in the middle of the night looking for burglars.
A traffic accident at less than 5mph is more likely yet less dangerous at the speeds driven during things like that.
And honestly I couldn't care less if think me or any other cop is hypocritical. I can't speak for others but many of us didn't choose this career to be liked...I would've been a firefighter if I wanted fanfare.

OK-WITHOUT reading the pages of responses:
After my academy education (I graduate tomorrow) I assume that: the LEO was not able to do checks and wanted to be able to contact you if he needed to when the system came back online.

HEE HEE!!! Oh, this reminds me of a story! When I was living in The Colony a couple of years ago, I once saw a LEO pull up to a stop light and stop. Then he turned his lights on and drove through the red light and then turned in to a convenience store parking lot just on the other side of the intersection. I happened to be going to the same place and got there after the light turned green. Turns out apparently his thirst for a 20oz coke was the emergency.

I saw something similar to this the other morning on my way into work (6:15AM).
I was waiting at a light, Sheriff pulls up to the other direction, stops, looks both ways, then blows the light. (The side streets were still green, hence how I knew he didn't have it)
He then pulls into a fast food place on the other side of it.
No lights or sirens were used at all.
I have seen this at least a dozen times by the Sheriff's department in my neighborhood. Sometimes they throw on their lights, sometimes they don't. It occurs most often at nighttime. Also, their lack of usage of turn signals, and excessive speed also bothers me. I'd understand if they were running hot, but 90% of the time, there is no indication that they are doing so.
I've seen this stuff as well & I'm thinking about it.
How many people, even at your busiest intersection, are there really sitting there? 10-15-20 tops? Multiply it times 2 for the opposite side of the intersection. You've got maybe 20-30-40 people that could have POTENTIALLY witnessed the event. I say potentially because how often do people pay 100% attention.
I won't take into account the cross traffic, people in motion on the lanes the officer is crossing, because they will not have seen that he wasn't running hot all the way up to & thru the intersection. And if there really is more than 20 people at any one intersection, it's during high traffic times & cross traffic wouldn't probably allow the event to occur.
Just silly analyzing my brain does . . .

We always get a good ph number. It is nice to have a set of ph numbers to use when trying to reach someone for a number if reasons. Call resident out on 911 calls, abandoned vehicles... Business alarm contacts... Etc. I was surprised to realize how often we use numbers collected from traffic stops to help us later.

Is that what it took to bring this back to life after a year?

I appologize. I didn't know that there was a statute of limitations on when one could comment on a post. Let me go back and review the Forum Rules.
