Arguably an illegal knife (dagger) if both edges are sharpened.

Weekdays is my Kershaw Mini Mojito. Work dress is business casual and that knife sits great in slacks. Love that knife - Ken Onion design:

Weekends is the Kershaw Bump, another Ken Onion design.

Note: I'm not endorsing the website store, links are there for picture and description purposes.

Kershaw Tyrade G10; carries great for a hefty knife, but tricky to find these days. I have several 'spares' :-)

The Kershaw Blur is also very good, easily found, and in many blade shapes and colours. I prefer the non-serrated drop point blade for ease of sharpening.

There's a tyrade on ebay right now for $259! I'm thinking my next Kershaw will be the Blur.

Boker, design by Jim Wagner. Great grip and even has a little nipple window punch on the end. It is my work knife and it has never failed. I've had it two years and carry everday and it stays sharp. I'm inpressed and I even scrape slag off of metal and it still stays sharp with no chips. Don't buy it from this link, it's in the range of 65 dollars online at amazon.

I like the "Griptillian" from Benchmade, a Mel Pardue design in 154CM.
I especially like the "Axis" lock feature as it wiil not allow
the blade to close even if hit on the back spine.

Yeah the titanium handled one goes for around that - there is one on gunbroker for $190 I think. The G10 handled versions go for around $90-100 when they appear.
Can't go wrong with the Blur though !!

I just noticed they bought out a composite blade blur;
http://cgi.ebay.com/Kershaw-Blur-Knife- ... 2a06ca8c37" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
14C28N spine with ZDP-189 edge - that is a great knife.
I'll stop going on about Kershaws now :-)

Why would you disable the safety?
I've not had any issues with my cheap SMKW red M16s I got two years ago ($14.97). My top recommendation is always a Spyderco if you can afford it, but understand some won't want to pay that much or risk it being lost (mainly why I don't carry any of my Spydies at the moment).
