Yeah my super tuck mailed on Tuesday and it is here. A friend of mine at work made a good observation. He said maybe they put it to be mailed but it will be like an income tax check were they only mail them out on certain days of the week. Possibility I guess.

Mailed everything in and did on line app Dec. 17th

I did my application online 12-07-2010.
I took my class on 12-11-2010.
All of my stuff mailed off 12-14-2010.

I just checked online 01-30-2011 at 6:30 pm the site shows all checks pending manufacture.

I checked at 9:00 am this morning and it said mailed 02-01-2011

congrats! now you have about another week or so of checking the mailbox 2 to 3 times a day

Been checking daily, what a wait. Finally!!

Wanted to give anyone that has waited longer than about 45 days a heads up. DPS recieved my stuff on December 2. My dad took the class a week later sent his in on the 11th and had his license 28 days later. I waited and waited and my online status would show the fingerprints and background check were still needing to be done. After 2 phone calls and an e-mail that was never responded to, my CHL instructor was able to get ahold of someone up there. Turns out the day they went to do my fingerprints the computer system had a glitch and my file basically got pushed aside until it was brought back to their attention, they expedited it through, apologized and is in the mail as I type. Just wanted to let anyone else know in case their wait has been longer than about 45-50 days, since most seem to be getting theirs back with in 25 days or so. Might be prudent to really bug them esepcially if the status shows your fingerprints are being held up.

Geez, the January guys seem to be flying past the December applications.

It makes no sense how some are issued in 18 days and others are months.

Still waiting.

I called today to just "check in", and was told that 60 days is the norm, and that they received my paperwork on the 12/28, all this time I thought they had it since the 22nd.

i know i've probably read it before but did you have prior arrests or anything in your background check that would delay things so long? i expected mine to take about 2 months because of a prior arrest, but you're right... some guys are getting their CHLs within 17 days now.
