A Paladin is a medieval knight and/or a determined advocate or defender of a noble cause.

Besides, I always liked the old TV show "Have gun, will travel"

Carry-over from my network identifier from a previous employer. Started using it and never changed it. I am also an amature radio operator (KD6CJG).

Yes, I am old. And, as I am old and tired, I have not been able to expend any precious energy thinking up a new and clever name. So, here I am. First initial, middle initial, last name.

Ah! SO you are from back when Bill Gates said no one would ever need more than 640k of memory? I can still remember running everything from 5.25 in. floppies and what would I do with a 10 meg HD.
I too remember when everything was run off 5.25 floppies and the like. I thought it was amazing when my father's laptop could store 3 whole green and black games, AND let me type!!

I remember how cool it was when I managed to hook up an old Apple LISA 10mb Hard Drive to my Apple ][e. I managed to break the filesystem limits for ProDos back then

I really love being a geek, I really do.

CG- US Coast Guard, XD9SC is what I carry when I am not carrying my 1911 which is almost all the time except on those rare occasions that I am in a place with a proper 30.06 sign on the door. I won't be there long and I am not there by choice.

Way back in 1988, I did a stint in Springfield, Va which is just outside the belt way. Those looneys around DC are the most anti gun folks I have ever ran into. I decided to get a lic plate saying what i thought about all that, so I did, and have kept the plate for all these years, progun. the 47 has no meaning, just had to put something on the end for yahoo mail.

Good Thread!! Cosmo, short for Cosmoline, 9 for 9mm. Then once I typed it I thought of the tall goofy guy on "Seinfeld" hence the signature.
