your correct in saying that the expesnive drinks are not coffee, you can get a coffee from star bucks fairly cheap, if you get a blended espresso drink the price jumps up :tiphat:

LOL... no, the five dollar stuff is more of a desert type drink with a couple "shots" of coffee(espresso) in it... but your correct. It is a stretch to call it coffee. How about we call it a "coffee drink" ?

I will confess to being guilty of occasionally standing in line and ordering a non-fat/no whip/venti mocha... . I am well aware that it costs me two punches out of my man card for every time I say it loud enough for the other people in line to realize I am an ole pro at Star bucks coffee ordering. My son in law suggests I go to 7-11 and buy regular coffee and use the flavored creamers...LOL. I don't think he understands.

I will now slink off in shame. :leaving

I don't care for coffee.
But Starbucks has tea, iced tea, hot chocolate and baked goods.
I'll find something to buy on Valentine's day.

You're not the only one. A pint of coffee (grande) is about $2 at Starbucks. A smaller cup costs less.

Hot chocolate's the only thing I ever get there, and I like it. Will have to swing by on the 14th. :cheers2:

I sent Starbucks a brief response pledging my support. I have one every now and again but I like the gift card idea best of all. My family members drink more coffee than I do, so at least I can support their craving and a semi-pro-2A establishment at the same time.

Dear Rex,
Thank you for your feedback regarding Starbucks' policy on open carry laws.
At Starbucks, we deeply respect the views of our customers and recognize that there is significant and genuine passion surrounding the issue of open carry weapons laws. We comply with local laws and statutes in the communities we serve. Our long-standing approach to this issue remains unchanged and we abide by the laws that permit open carry in 43 U.S. states. Where these laws don't exist, openly carrying weapons in our stores is prohibited.
As the public debate around this issue continues, we encourage customers and advocacy groups from both sides to share their input with their public officials. We are extremely sensitive to the issue of gun violence in our society and believe that supporting local laws is the right way for us to ensure a safe environment for both partners and customers.

If you have any further questions or concerns that I was unable to address, please feel free to let me know.

Warm Regards,

Paying with $2 bills. Another great idea!

I wonder if they would get it?

I can't access that site from here.
Are they suggesting we pay with $2 bills as a discrete identifier?
