What I dont understand is, my wife and I took the class, fingerprints, submitted applications, etc all on the same day. Her status still has the default of:
License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials. Once the application and materials have been received by Concealed Handgun Licensing and processing has begun, a more detailed status will appear on this page.
I submitted very similarly to you guys; class and online submission 11/25, fingerprints 12/2. Same status as your wife. Hopefully she (and I) will get an update soon!
My wife's status was updated today to the same as mine! You may not have much longer to wait for yours to update txbecca.

Your wife may suffer from the same affliction I do. That is the ability to find the slowest checkout clerk no matter where I go. Just replace checkout clerk with CHL Specialist and you may have your answer.

For Dec waiting folks.
Several people have posted in the Nov waiting room that they are just receiving their license. My wife got hers yesterday and the others seem to be from the period around the first week in Nov. It took 87 days for my wife to get hers and about the same for some other people I saw. However, someone posted that they learned the state put on some temps and are working OT to catch up the backlog. My wife sent hers in about the time of the govt shutdown. This may have affected background checks. Also there was Tgiving and Christmas holidays. Maybe the Dec applications wont take so long now that the holidays are over and the state added staff and hours.

I submitted everything online on 11/25 and fingerprints 12/2. My status changed "background under review 01/31 and now to "manufacturing pending" today (02/02). I'm ALMOST there! Hang in there, y'all! You're getting so close to having your plastic. I've also heard from several others in the November waiting, that they have hired extra people to get caught up!

Well mine still says: "Background Check: Under review" but my wife's is complete and it says it has mailed. NOT FAIR!

Dang it.. see all these updates that folks have gotten an updated status. Sent my in on 12/30.... still no update.....so cant wait.. Yes i am impatient ahhahaah.. Cant wait to try out carrying the Kel-tec

At least you're not alone. I keep checking my status
as thought it will make things go faster. I'm just a glutton for punishment.

The confirmation email came back the following day 12/18/13.
I sent them an email yesterday to confirm receipt of the documents. No response to that email, but my status was updated today.
When did you apply?
