Almost 60 days to show anything! But happy with what I see.

19 days in background review! (Surprising because I had a Top Secret clearance from the Army, although 15 years ago. I've lived at the same address for 12 years now, and the only time I've left the country was a trip to Canada about 7 years ago.)
At any rate, I'm happy with progress.
3rd update, 5/28
Concealed Handgun License : Mailed
Hopefully, I'll update tomorrow with "plastic in hand!"
4th update, 5/31

3/28/2013 Mailed Docs to DPS via USPS, Tracking info no signature required. Docs Delivered 3/30
5/8/2013 Status changed to Background Under Review. Didn't check until after 2pm
5/29/2013 Background Check Complete, Manufacture Pending
5/30/2013 Mailed
6/3/2013 License Receieved

Mine was done exactly like above. My wife called to tell me mine came in, yet I'm out of town. No wally walk today. I don't know what to do now that I won;t be checking the DPS website like an addict!!!

It was 62 days mailbox to mail box for me. Also mine must have laid in ths outgoing mail box for 2 days. What showed on the site was not the actual postmark.

Checked mine at 7:30 this morning and was still in manufacturing, but your post convinced me to look again. However now it says mailed!

Time to start stalking the postman. The status changed in the middle of the day (sometime after 1pm) so the previous poster that stated it only updates at 6am is incorrect.
3-26 Mailed complete packet to Austin (application was already completed online)
3-28 Fingerprinting session
5-7 Website status changed to Application: Received
5-31 Background check complete
6-4 Mailed
