I am really encouraged by the turnaround you had, Flightmare, with me being all in mid March. I did have 2 misdemeanors from 16 years ago that I had to submit certified copies of the case disposition, etc. Does anyone know if prior criminal records go to a different office for review or if it is all there and legit it just gets approved by the state inspector/reviewer? I assume it will delay my wait time in some form or fashion...

I had two non-disqualifying items that I listed on my application. I sent in the disposition on the one I could track down with my application. I did not hear another word on it and I was sent to print on Friday. I was all in on 4/4. I think they all go to the same office and I did not experience a delay from mine.

Mine was in hand around mid march. I've been sticking around the forums to learn more things, and encourage others who are waiting.

All in on 2/25/16 called RSD today and was told my license was issued today! Hopefully my time here will be over soon.

Just out of curiosity, how do you know that your prints were just now sent to the FBI?

That's what I was told on the phone by "Reggie's" office.

Here's my timeline. Ish...
Class, PAPER prints, application and sent everything in via snail mail together on 3/10.

Settled in for the long wait.
Started reading that people were having troubles with their DD214s, for one reason or another.
I didn't send mine in because I didn't have one handy and wanted to get everything started.
I called the 7111# and after a long search for my paperwork, they finally said i didn't didnt need a DD214 BUT I didn't meet the requirements for paper prints!!!
An appointment later and a week of calls and I got a call back saying they got the electronic prints and they sent them for review.
I only have their word on that and they said at least 4 to 6 weeks more.

pretty much right at 60 days + shipping.

Alien gear has three styles of holster available for that gun. Ive got the IWB and it's very comfy for my glock 23.

I will inquire alien gear then. thanks for the suggestion!

I posted earlier in the week and my status changed online today between 5am and 10am CST (yea, I have been checking it alot). Woohoo!

Fingerprints: 3/18/2016
Status change: 5/18/2016
In hand: Hopefully tomorrow or Friday!

Received an email from RSD today stating I was selected for print on 5/12/16. I did have an arrest so I expected longer wait time.

Email saying sent to print 5/12/16
status change 5/18/2016

4 of us took the class together and filled out paperwork within a day or two of each other.
3/4 statuses changed today, one being a veteran submitting veteran paperwork.
I think the 4th person did fingerprints a few days after us.
