Now the downside is I just bought a house, so now I have to wait for an address change.

Yay!!! It's here! It's here!
Final timeline...
3/10Class, PAPER prints, application and sent everything in via snail mail together.
Settled in for the long wait...
5/9 Called on 7,423 times to address a consern. Found out that issue was good but... Was told paper fingerprints were not allowed.
5/10 Submitted new electronic fingerprints.
5/16 Called 459 times and got told they just sent the prints in. They must not have been busy.
5/21 status change!!
5/23 plastic in hand but I'm super sick. So the wally walk will have to wait.

Sooo... Technicality I had a 13 day turnaround from my "ALL" in date.
It sounds better than 74 days.

I called because I didn't get confirmation email. I was told that they just began April. So we maybe a couple weeks. They seem to be moving faster.

There may be a light at the end of the tunnel for me!
CHL class: 1/22
Fingerprints: 1/27
Submitted application & documents: 1/28
"All in" email received: 1/28
436 emails to find out what the heck is wrong with application
Resubmit CHL-100 (how is a pdf 'too dark to read'?) 4/26
2nd "all in" email: 4/26
Status change: TBD
In hand: TBD
I called this morning to double check and make sure everything is on track and they're able to read my CHL-100 this time. Spoke with a very nice lady who said she was very sorry for the issues with my application, they can read the CHL-100 and it looks like my LTC will be printed by the end of this week. Gave me her extension number and said if I don't get it in the next week or so to call her back. Today marks the 118 calendar day of hell.

Ahh I hear ya. It was just supplemental documentation conformation. I don't mind the wait, definitely excited though!

Does it do any good to contact your State Rep and ask for help about a problem or does DPS give them the same generic answers it gives the public. Curious if you had to call your State Rep about a problem if the issue was resolved in a timely manor.

I have heard only positive stories of people contacting legislators and/or the governor
