Just logged into the TX DPS website and my page looks to have updated now.

I can now see all of the different steps and items needing to be completed (green, yellow, red, etc).

Couple of things:

Passport Photo Holder (Out of State Only) shows to be "Under Review" (yellow) for some reason (I have a valid TX DL). I guess it's old information and they haven't updated it again. It still shows the Proof of Classroom Training to be "Incomplete, notice sent to applicant." in red. I received that back on 6/18 and re-submitted a completed form on 6/20.

Background and LTC are under review (yellow) as well - as to be expected.

I'll give it a few more weeks and check back.

6/19/16 - Documents uploaded to DPS
6/20/16 - DPS acknowledged receipt of documents - "We have received your License To Carry supporting documents. Please allow up to six weeks for processing."
6/27/16- License to Carry : Print Pending - Is this the infamous "status change" followed by receiving the LTC in the mail?

Plastic in hand: ?? on day 90 since confirm email.
Looks like it truly is hit or miss with some of timelines everyone has gotten their plastic. I'm a first time CC holder already got my pistol holster and everything ready.... but the wait continues best of luck to all those waiting!

i checked the dps site and my status has all green except background check (under review) and of course printing.
what should i expect from this point? it sounds like things have been moving quickly at DPS - keeping my fingers crossed!

I am in the same boat. All my documents show received and completed and are in green. I'm just weary because that would be a very quick processing time. However I am in the military so I thought maybe that sped it up

i am now in the same boat ! i submitted everything on 6/21 and my status is now pending print. is time to stalk the mail man? !

Wow I don't get how fast the first time licenses are getting turn around.

Hmmmm,

Some of the wait times seem to be getting really short.

The skeptical side of my brain wonders if maybe they are "fast tracking" some of the very recent apps through to get their averages down considerably.

That's awesome, fast process considering all the applicants!

Set for print! I figure by July 4th I'll be doing my wallywalk

I wouldn't be surprised. I'm on Day 73, fingerprints and BC still "under review". I think stuck in someone's desk drawer is more likely, but they don't have that as a category....
