I have been an "observer" of this forum for only a short time - since April of this year when I became aware of the site . I feel your pain, For those of you who mailed your applications in late March or early April of this year:

03/21: internet packet received (paid on line with credit card)and pin num received
03/28: passed CHL class
04/06: application delivered
05/14: "processing application"
07/04: "application completed-license issued or certificate active
???????: plastic in hand
there is a light at the end of the tunnel

07/09 plastic in hand

"only" 90+ days since application was delivered..

Denton county by the way ..

What county are you in?

I'm Harris county, and still waiting on a January application. (but I'm not bitter......*right...*)

"Waiting on Harris County background check" is all they can tell me. Hope to have it before Christmas! *frown*

The phone calls/emails to DPS and Sen. Mike Jackson's office have seemed to fail. I will give one week from tomorrow, and it will be time for a formal letter.
