What USA1 is talking about:

We met up at Shiloh's shooting range today off of FM 1960. After shooting about 200 rounds between us we called it quits and chatted for a while outside. I told him I had called DPS (for the first time) on Thursday morning and they told me it had gone to printing. I checked thursday evening and friday evening and it was still processing. This morning as we are about to part ways USA1 tells me that I should check my status when I got home. And FFS sure enough it had changed. It's like the man waved his magic cigarette lighter and said some voodoo words and changed it that moment.

I don't know how he did it...that's crazy go nuts!

And yes, Joe817. I think that means it's complete. Just maybe.

well ,after this long , somethins gotta happen for cryin out loud .

Application Completed - license issued or certificate active. And it only took 157ish days.

Well, what do you know. Just checked the DPS web site and it says "License Issued"! I can't figure this one. I originally sent the app. in back in March; but they needed more info and that didn't get sent in until sometime in June. That is when they said they actually started the background check - in June. Now only two months later the app. in complete and the license is issued. Go figure! Still, I'm a happy man today. I guess I can expect it within a couple of weeks or so. The web site didn't say anything about going to the printer - just that the app is complete and the license is issued.

Aww yeha.. Today is a day of awesomeness. Congrats to the others who got their in today's batch!
