I put my birthday instead on the completion date and had to resubmit the corrected CHL100

I had confirmation of submission on 10/13/16 and have yet to have status update on my LTC online status and its 11/2/16?

what the heck is the hold up? did they pull me from all processing or what happened?
Im kinda worried about it?

I've had the same problem and have been calling or emailing and still no answer other than they have 8 weeks to complete.

10/18- app recieved
10/19-fingerprints
10/26-supporting documents received/background review
10/29-print pending
11/04-mailed
?????-received license in mail

UPDATE: They Just updated my status online (11/04/2016) and now Background pending and Fingerprints pending!!!! any idea how long that takes?!

UPDATE: They Just updated my status online (11/04/2016) and now Background pending and Fingerprints pending!!!! any idea how long that takes?!

It depends. If you have to resubmit anything then by their statute, they now have 180 days to process. Not that the original 60 day statute held them accountable in any way. Hopefully they won't throw you in the take your time pile.

Online app completed 10/3/16

Finger-prints completed 10/4/16

LTC training class - 7/30/16

CHL-100 Uploaded - 10/7/16

Website status updated - 11/5/16

I had to re submit some paperwork after my original application . It literally took an extra 4 months before I got my ltc. Total wait time was 6 months

I received my supporting docs conf email a week ago and when I log in to see the status I get essentially a blank page. When typically, have others at least been able to see the status after they received their supp docs email?

Today 11-08-16 background check went green, print pending.

08-02-16 submitted last of my supporting documents
08-08-16 received email confirming all documents in.

So it took 3 months from confirmation email to background complete and print pending. Lets see how long before its in my mailbox.

What a long and confusing journey. I learned a great deal about the Texas CHL process along the way and after waiting 5.5 months and jumping through a couple hoops they put in my path, my status finally changed to "Fingerprints Received" "Background Check Completed" and "Print Pending"!




Now the wait begins for my plastic to arrive in the mail...

I had a couple of arrests and other items in my past that caused some delays, but DPS actually does do their job and they aren't just forgetting about us. So if you're one of the unlucky ones who aren't getting your CHL in the mail in just a few weeks, don't give up hope. And if you get a packet in the mail requesting more data, tend to it quickly and get it back to them. They actually do continue to work on your case after that. It is put on hold, but it isn't lost or in perpetual limbo.

Good luck to everyone else who is waiting and watching the CHL status website daily, hoping to see the much coveted "Mailed" update...

Here`s my timeline :-

10/26 - Online Application + Fee
10/27 - Submitted all Supporting documentation (except CHL-100)
10/31 - Fingerprints
11/03 - Background pending
11/06 - CHL Class + uploaded CHL 100
11/07 - Background complete / Print pending
11/10 - Mailed

In my case it appears that they started processing my application even before I submitted the CHL-100. Probably because I called them once immediately after filing an application online to clarify a few things about my "long name" that would not fit in the application.

I'm getting the same thing. Not sure if I should be worried.

My app did finally appear in process online with a status. It took about 8-9 days to get a status update view.
For you I wouldnt be worried at all, you submitted docs 2 days ago.
