No my fiance is back at my place in Texas, Im working in Louisiana at the moment and I requested to have it to sent to a house here. They somehow changed my address so it's pointless to have a license if it doesn't match my driver's license address. They are reprinting it and said it will be shipped Friday or Monday. Just a bit irritated but they said they noticed it after the fact.

I have been waiting since 1/16/17. That was the day my status was updated to everything green except fingerprints and background check with are all still under review. Any ideas on time lines?

My status went into review 12/6 (submitted 11/22) and was in review until 2/3 after I submitted supporting documents for a misdemeanor in 1995. A week later 2/9 my status is mailed. Awaiting delivery.

I have a clean background, I even have a DoD active clearance. The clearance didn't even take this long once the final interview was submitted. Just can't fathom why it would take this long. I mean maybe the background check, but why the finger prints? Nothing else I can do but wait. Oh well.

LTC Class Taken: 2/3/17
CHL-100 Submitted online: 2/3/17
Email Receipt from RSD confirming supporting documents received: 2/6/17
as of right now, there is no update on the dps status website, but I will be looking for something to pop up this week. I am as excited as the rest of you, and hope they continue pushing these applications through in a reasonable amount of time!

Your info should be going into review this week. Mine took 2 weeks before it went into review after submitting it.

My license Showed up in today's mail.
What a great day.
I am going on my 'walk' tonight hopefully if time allows.
There will be pictures, and I will be posting them for encouragement to others who are waiting.
SO.. Here is my complete timeline from beginning to end....
11/19 - LTC class and range certification taken
11/21 - fingerprints taken
11/22 - applied online and packet of papers electronically filed with DPS
12/06 - application went into review
waited..waited..waited..called called called.. Got a decent rep who said i should submit my priors that it might be holding my license up.
1/27 - downloaded CHL 87C supporting doc, sent in my misdemeanor info from 22 years ago.
2/3 - status changed to print pending
2/10 - status changed to mailed
2/13 - license in the mail...

Thanks! I am out running around town to different stores that arent 30.06 or 07, and taking a few pics of my first open carry. Nobody has been weird, or scared. Except one guy thought i was an officer. Lol. I said no, i just got my license. What a strange feeling though. Open carry is a heavy responsibility. I think i will prefer concealed carry going forward.
