Not correct. I lived in nearby RI for 50 years. The occassional self defense shooting is certainly reported on local TV and in newspapers.

Sometimes the reporters put a bad slant on it, but trust me when I tell you that when you have dead bodies on the ground there is no way it will be hushed up.

4 people killed in a retail establishment is big news in MA or anywhere else in the country.

BTW, some of my old pals from RI/MA have started to email me back. No one has heard Word One about this "incident" reported in any news outlet whatsoever - local or national.

Respectfully, why don't you just delete the offending post and block the user?

Deleted the post, kept the user, and gave a friendly reminder.

I don't know how this will end. You can't prove that it didn't happen just because you can't find anything in the news. There is always a chance that it wasn't reported or you didn't see it. What evidence would you need to prove that the story is false other than for HEMIzygote to admit that he made it up?

you need evidence to prove the truth... everything else is speculation...

So I take it that you're an atheist, or at least an agnostic.

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen".
HEBREWS 11:1

faith by definition requires no evidence, specifically from a "religious" standpoint.

my faith in God/not God is not the question... please keep it on topic as not to have yet another thread shut down

No need to prove the story false.

When something is asserted, it is up to the person making the assertion to offer evidence in support.

In the absence of evidence, unconfirmed claims are just that - unconfirmed claims.
