KinnyLee, you grip the 1911 the exact same way I do. Left thumb over right thumb. I've always used that grip and it works real well even though every once in a while I get told by an expert bystander that it's wrong.

It was the way I was taught to gain more control of the gun. Works for me. I've tried the other way via isoceles, but it was never as accurate.

Marksman at South Houston. They were the only ones around here that opens late enough for us to shoot. We were there til 9:45. lol.

John, the Springer is coming. It will be posted when I get home. We are on vacation right now. I am hoping to make those pics a solo display. If I can't I will have to call DP again for refresher coarse.
