I ate at the Cedar Park Taco Cabana for lunch today. They had taken down their non-30.06-compliant "No Weapons Allowed on These Premises" or whatever it said sign.

The TC at Beltline/Marsh in Addison took down their non-compliant sign. I ate there yesterday and I sure felt comfortable with my 9mm while eating a taco :)

Who wants to send them a link to this thread to show that their actions did indeed increase their sales to CHLers by 99%?
I usually only end up at TC here in San Marcos after drinking (when all but TC and IHOP are closed), so the signs didn't really affect me due to lack of intoxicated carrying.

Just wanted to let everyone on CHL forum that I'm very happy with the policy change of Taco Cabana. I also sent a Thank You e-mail to cust. service Diana Smith. Her response was super quick and very positive. I just felt that with this policy change, a very sincere Thank You was deserved. (Now I hope the same could be accomplished on HOSPITALS. Security only carry walkie-talkies. Makes me feel very insecure.

I'm glad to see a fairly large company like this take a step in the right direction. I mean holy cow, this is an actual example of someone with some common sense making a good decision.
On a side note, I am a self proclaimed Mexican food connoisseur and have to say they have the best Mexican grub you can get at a drive up window. I highly recommend the chicken soft tacos. Cheap and tasty!

I am real happy with TCs decision, I am on the road a lot, and Taco Cabana is fast, reasonably healthy, and consistent from store to store. When I'm on the road I want two things to be well armed and well fed.

The McALLEN RIO GRANDE REGIONAL HOSPITAL has the old sign, but starts PURSUANT TO....3006.......PERSON LICENSED UNDER ARTICLE 4413(29ee)-------- I wrote an e-mail to the address on the TEXAS CONCEALED HANDGUN LAWS (Licensing Bur..TEX. DEPT. of PUB.SAFETY) pamphlet from my CHL class.I sent the exact wording of the sign. Their response was basically " Don't Risk Being Arrest". They are the ones who issue CHLs, so I took their advice.
