Just got back from Dallas. Drove straight to the mailbox.... Empty. Pull in to the garage and come on it only to find my wife with a big smile. She pointed to the kitchen island and said, "I think this is what you have been waiting for"..... PLASTIC in HAND!

new to forum but heres my recent experience...
10-06-2009 got packet from dps
2-6-2010 class completed (central tx)
2-8-2010 (mon) hand delivered packet to DPS Austin on Guadalupe
2-10-2010 processing application (online)
3-5-2010 application completed - license issued or certificate valid
3-X-2010 plastic
i emailed them while "processing application" and was told by email within an hour and a half(early morning emails) that license was being printed, should receive it within 1-2 weeks. Then it was completed two days later.

Received my CHL on March 4. Mailed the application January 30, so that was 33 days.

Dps cashed my check about a week ago. Took class 2-21 sent packet 2-22 dps got packet 2-24. I still haven't recieved a pin via snail mail since I did not apply online. Anyone know the average time to get your pin after they cash your check. They did cash my check and no pin as of 3-8.
