Ruger SR9c...ten round "concealed mag" +1 in chamber...and USUALLY a spare full-size 17-round mag...depends on the situation, though. I pretty much always wear untucked button up shirts, no matter the weather, so a leather pouch on my belt, next to my cell phone and multitool doesn't really look out of place, if a person even sees it at all.

I still carry the same. 40 rounds most of the time, 9+1 and 2x15 spares. If I'm carrying light I just drop one of the spare mags to give me 25 rounds.

8 in gun and one extra mag of 7

XD9 =1 mag 16+1
XDM40=1 mag 16
BG380=1 mag 6+1 and 2 6 rnd mags

I usually carry the bg380 at work with one or the other XD in my backpack

when i am out, its the XDm40 or the XD9

Sig P220 (My EDC) - 2 8 rnd mags + 1 in the pipe = 17
Ruger P89 - 2 15 rnd mags + 1 10 rnd mag + 1 in the pipe = 41

Though the P89 rarely goes anywhere except to the range.

XD40: 9+1 and a 9-rd. mag
Ruger .380: 6+1 and a 6-rd. mag

PX4SC-9mm: 13+ 1 plus 17 = 31
P30-9mm 15+1 plus 15 = 31

7+1 in the Commander or the Officers and two spare 7 rounders....

My P-11 has a custom magazine so carry 12+1 and an extra magazine. Do I really need 25 rounds. Not likely but if your weapon jams its easier to drop the magazine than to clear a jam. Also I am carrying JHP in the gun and FMJ in the spare magazine. Thus if I was in a situation where I needed more object penatration could quickly switch to FMJ.

My Bersa is 17+1 and rather heavy to carry. Love to shoot it and it's a more dependable and accurate gun. Only use it for IDPA so for competition carry two extra magazines but they only allow you to load 10 rounds per. This is due to the fact that many competitors have these rather lame guns they must have brought in california and can only hold 10.

Growing up my father was very sparing of ammo when we hunted. One bullet dinner on the table. Two bullets and you needed to come up with a pretty good story. That being said I had a friend that used a shotgun to bring down his first deer and it took 9 shots .

Seriously, I have several different answers, depending on where I am going and how I am dressed.

Most often: 7 + 1 in a Kel-Tec PF9, sometimes with a spare mag for a total of 15 rounds
Preferred: 13 + 1 in Glock 23 with a spare 13-rd mag for a total of 27 rounds
Fairly often: Combination of preferred and most often carry methods: Glock 23 - 27 rounds + Kel-tec - 8 rounds = 35 total rounds
Occasionally: Ruger GP100 4" with 6 rounds of .357 Mag
Growing on me: Beretta 92 - 18 + 1, with extra 18-round mag. Frequently with Kel-Tec BUG

That translates to anywhere from 6 total rounds up to 45 total rounds. Why? Because I can.

10+1 in main gun. 6+1 in bug, and 5shot revolver in other pocket. If going on long car trip its a diff gun with 15+1 and 2 extra mags

I recently just switched from a g27 with with a g23 mag as backup, to a g19 with a g17 mag as backup

S&W 45c 8+1, spare 10rd mag LCP 6+1 so looks like 26, when out in the world. Oh yeah 50 box of gold dots in the glovebox. So if i'm I'm in the truck its 76. Just hangin at the house S&W 642 with 5 rds with the AR15, 30+1 about 30ft away.

15 + 1 with my Glock 19 and sometimes another 15rd mag full.
