No I have, but will check them out. I have been doing alot of looking but didn't want to spend alot of money until I was sure I would like it. Some of my concern is that I don't like to wear a belt so I also need to look at something that will hold fairly well to my pants.
I really like the XD 9, I think the weight is one of the things that I like about it. I feel like I have more control. I tend to shoot a little low and left with the kel-tec and I think it is because it is lighter. I am working on that though. I started out shooting husband's XD .40 so I think it is what I got used to.

The nice thing about the Remora is that you don't have to wear a belt. The material it is made out of holds it in place very well against your body and clothes. They are also inexpensive for a holster and have a lifetime warranty

You can't go wrong.
I really wish the XD9sc would of felt better for me because I know it is a very reliable gun and I like the safety features on it. Maybe I just need to check my man card and not let weight of be an issue for me.

Well, I am officially past due

I will send them an email today and see if I can get things moving again. I will wait till Friday to actually call them as I am sure they are a little behind due to the holiday. Trying to be reasonable but am getting impatient

Wow, can you believe I received a response back from DPS within 30 mins of sending email

This is the response I received. My status has not changed however

Maybe I will get my license before my status changes.
Feeling a little excited

Glad you got some sort of answer from them. I hope that mailing time frame doesn't apply across the board. They were supposed to update my address before they printed it. Instead they mailed it to the house I am moving from. So it better get here no later than Friday. Otherwise I will not receive it. Then have to figure out that mess.
Once again I am happy you got a response in such a timely manner. It should be that way for everyone. Just without the crazy long wait. We live in such a "connected" society it shouldn't be all that difficult to check peoples history. Then again we have the human part of it which is subject to error.

Thanks. I don't think anything is "across the board" with DPS. There are some that get theirs within a couple of days and than others that it takes the full "10 -14 business days" With the way everything else has been, I will probably be one that takes the full 10 - 14 days.
Hopefully you get your license before Friday. Good Luck on your move

Manufacturing
I seem to be feeling a bit calmer the past couple of days.

My patience has been restored (for now).
