Looks like March and April mailed documents are taking 60-70 days, I'm guessing due to the number of employees taking spring break and vacations during this time of the year. My stuff was mailed in early May to DPS, and currently shows my CHL is in the mail. From the day I mailed them stuff to the day they show mine mailed, 38 days.

6/06/2013 (Day # 63): DPS CHL Website updated to “Background Check Complete / Concealed Handgun License Manufacturing Pending”
6/07/2013 (Day # 64): DPS CHL Website updated to “Concealed Handgun License Mailed”
6/13/2013 (Day#70): Concealed Handgun License Received in Mail!!! (72 days, mailbox to mailbox)

Just got it today.

03/20/13 - Application
04/01/13 - Finger prints
04/07/13 - Training Class
04/23/13 - Training Range
04/25/13 - Sent USPS / It was sent to Phoenix, AZ from Texas then Austin.
05/01/13 - Finally at Austin
05/22/13 - Print pending completion of application review
06/08/13 - Manufacturing Pending
06/11/13 - Manufacturing
06/12/13 - Mailed
06/15/13 - received in the mail today!!!
52 days box to box both wife and mine!!!

5/19- chl class
5/24- fingerprint, application, mailed docs
5/27- tracking shows docs arrived
6/11- dps shows received bg under review
6/12- bg done, mfg pending
6/13- mailed
6/18- delivered

Off to do my Wally walk.

Who did you pay off at DPS to get your plastic so quick? 1 day in BG check, and I thought mine taking 10 days was fast. It took 65 days before I got my first update, you should feel blessed.

Nightmare... I am very blessed... How I was processed so quick baffles me... How ever, my first year will be short... My b day is July 20.. But I'll gladly give up a year to get my plastic that fast...

Got mine today, 44 days. Wife got hers two days ago, 42 days.

57 days. sped right through once they 'received' documents.

I just got mine in the mail yesterday. Here is my time table:

Don't remember when my status first changed, but went to background and fingerprints complete on June 15

Manufacture pending June 16
Manufacturing June 16
Mailing June 17
In mailbox June 19

Mailbox to mailbox in 38 days.

Emailed my forms May 24, 2013

Received my license June 20, 2013

26 days

Mine went from print pending to mailed in like a few days! not long at all!!
