But if I wait till I get the plastic, then I have to get a holster and it will be several weeks before I make the Wally Walk. With all our new walkers here maybe a suggestion could come my way on a good size .40 or 9mm and holster...

I have a Glock 19 and that's a pretty good gun, but for me it is more of a "winter" gun where I can conceal it a little better with more clothes on. In the summer with only a t-shirt and shorts it is hard for me to conceal it. My wife buys my t-shirt and polos on the tight fitting side so not a lot of room to conceal a glock. I'm thinking about a Taurus millenium Pro 45 because it is a lot thinner than my G19 and would conceal a little better. They have 9mm, 40 and 45. Plus it has a manual safety so I feel a little bit safer carrying with one in the chamber and not worry about accidental fire. As for holster I'm still looking. Anyone have any thoughts on the Blackhawk IWB tuckable holsters (saw them at academy for $34) and the Desantis sof-tuk holsters?

Bill

My primary carry is the Glock 27 with a Crossbreed IWB holster. That is the most comfortable rig I have. My favorite gun is the Glock 22 and it also fits in the Crossbreed but I prefer to carry it when I have on a jacket and use a Blackhawk paddle rig OWB. Personally I find it tough to conceal under summer clothes. Last weekend I found a gun store going out of business and picked up a brand new XD in 9mm for a great price. It came with mag holders and a small plastic holster. I haven't carried it yet because I haven't shot it yet but it is a real comfortable gun in the hand so it definately has potential. If you were closer to San Antonio I would be happy to let you fire each of these and see what you like or didn't like.

Another couple of weeks but I am still a happy camper. I just purchased a firearm yesterday, do you think that had anything to do with it getting updated today?
