when i took my class , a guy showed up thinking he would just buy some at the range. of course they did'nt have any in stock, so he had to postpone the shooting portion until he could find ammo.

I just left Academy on Edgebrook, they had 2 250 Mega UMC 45's left. $97 each.

When my wife took her CHL last month I gave her a couple hundred rounds and told her to sell it to anyone who needed it, but everyone had enough.

Just got two boxes of Monarch .380 94 gr JHP at the Academy in Round Rock @$15.99/box of 50. They had about 6 more boxes, but I ain't no hawg.

Also got a couple WWB .38 Sp 130 gr FMJ @$18.99/box 50 (they had 4 more boxes).

Bought one 250 round mega-pack of Remington .45 ACP 230gr FMJ for $97.99. They had one left.

Took the wife to get her hair cut over in NW Austin on 183 after lunch. decided to run by the Academy nearby to see if they had anything. Got there at 1:05 just as they were rolling in a cart full of ammo off the truck. No .223, no .38Sp.....but they had a carton of the Monarch .357 JHP 158 gr. - bought two boxes of that @$19.99/box of 50.

They also had two cardboard boxes of the Remington Mega Pack .45ACP. Passed on that since I had already bought one two hours before.

I went to CTD today just to look around. Couldn't believe my eyes. There was a UMC value pack .40 for sale....for $174.85 . Cheaper Than Dirt ?!?!? Walmart sells it here for ~$51.

i think their name is very misleading , it makes me sick to see those prices..you're better off burnin a little gas makin the rounds to all the usual stores. i can always find something if i look hard enough.

The new Walmart in Garland off Northwest Hwy has some ammo , but not what I need , so thought I`d report

just thought Id let ya`ll know oh yeah... LIMIT 2 ITEMS... I dont get this I was at another Walmart and they had a limit of 6 ,and another ,another limit , all theses stores have different on limits , i dont get it , thought they were supposed to have all the same rules , anywho... theres your lowdown on this ammo report

man, i had'nt seen that much different stuff all in one place for some time !

Yeah , they had two trucks last night , first truck had nothing ( cuz I went back to see of they had anything i could use ) guy told me they were gonna start the second truck after 7pm last night , I was already out of the area by then , but swung by this morning and thats what they had

Thats a bunch of bull!! I was in the academy (Webster) the other day and they happened to have the UMC .40 250ct box there for $79!!! I will never buy from CTD!

Folks I know, have sworn off CTD. I would bet that most knowledgeable folks won't be taken in by ammo prices like that. Problem is, there are a whole lot of noobs in the gun scene these days that have no idea how much of a gouging that is and will buy it up and throw it on the ole credit card.

I suppose if they can find suckers willing to pay those prices, who can blame them for living the American dream? As for me, they could be offering the last firearm ever to be made and I would not buy it from them.

I found UMC 250rd 45 ACP last week for less than $100 and I'm about to head out at 9AM to have a looksee for .380. CTD is shooting themselves in their feet.

i was talking to the clerk at walmart (249@Springcypress) there was actually a little bit of ammo on the shelf, and this was at 2pm.
he told me they have been getting more shipments in lately.but it is still usually gone pretty quick . he said this morning (sunday) was the largest shipment they had in many weeks. 9mm .40cal .45acp

Bass Pro shop in Houston off of Beltway 8 and 288 had some Remington UMC .223 55 gr with a brass case. $5 for a box of twenty. They also have a 45 grain value pack. 200 for $119.

Had a good day at the neighborhood wallyworld. Bought the limit of WWB .45 JHP @ $19.97 per 50 rd box.

Found some .45 at Wally World at 423/Eldorado in Frisco / Little Elm.. They had 8 boxes, I took 4 (leave some for the next guy).. the 9mm (when they have it) is $8.97 per box..
