I feel bad for everyone out there playing the waiting game. After reading many many posts, my optimism was not very high. But my plastic came in today. I thouroughly enjoyed excercising my new rights all afternoon. I feel somewhat ashamed posting this but here are my dates. Maybe the turnaround times are picking up.

Class 4/16
Online application 4/18
Fingrerprints 4/20
Status change never
Plastic in hand 5/26
(Hadn't checked the mail in a couple days)

A phone call will not help. You will only get a recording that tells you how diligently they are working.

You may have to dial the number several times but you will get through. A lot of people have done it and I am one of them.

I would probably make the call. There could be an issue where the RSD is awaiting you supplemental docs...did you receive an email stating the docs were received? Either way, no harm in making the call. Especially with all the posts of members receiving their cards in under six weeks. Good look!

Yep, the supplemental doc date is actually the date I received confirmation. I'll try to call them on Tuesday after the holiday.

Anyone have thoughts on what I should do or what is going on? I tried calling but it just says they have too many applications and automatically hangs up and I tried emailing and they just send back a generic pre-written email. I noticed some people on have submitted their stuff in April and already have their LTC in hand. So shouldnt mine have been completed too?

Wow...You've been 'all in' for two months now. I know some post not to call as it pulls someone away to their job; therefore, slowing the process further. I, on the other hand, say it's time to call, call, call until you get an answer. Good luck!

Same happend to me when u apply as a vet they have to verify that you are indeed a vet. I submitted all of my stuff in Feb and didnt get my plastic till May. When i called they eplained to me that the hold up was the vet verifiation.

Seems that something else is the problem. I am a Vet and had to send everything the first time around. It was less than 3 weeks start to finish. I am going on 2 months now and this is a RENEWAL. ALL of those verifications had been done. Still frustrated.

I talked to them today. They said my application was in processing and that it would take up to 12 weeks from the date they receive all documents. So I guess I'll call back in two weeks, at the 12 week mark.

I called them this morning and the lady told me that my LTC was already sent to printing and once they send it in the mail my status will change. she said to expect it in 7 to 14 days. So woo! Finally!
