Hey guys, fellow April App here. I've been lurking in this thread for awhile, you have all helped me cope! I mailed my app in April 20th, for reference. My wife also mailed her's in the same day and she was approved last Friday. Today was day 103 for me so I decided to call DPS, fully expecting the "Be patient, we're very busy" response. After about a 3 minute wait I was transferred to my "technician" who was very nice. I simply stated that I had crossed the 100 day mark and was wondering what might be holding my application up. I was VERY polite. She asked me to hold while she went to retrieve my app. She then looked it over and confirmed that all my paperwork was in order, my background check had come back, and everything looked good. I jokingly mentioned that my wife was approved last week so I was a bit jealous. She laughed and said she would put my application through today, and that they would start producing my license on Monday, and I would receive it sometime after that (something like 10 days? I was so giddy I wasn't really listening). After I hung up, I said to myself, "So that's it? Call and ask? Huh." I was prepared to get cold shouldered and to have to ask my State Rep for help. So, hopefully my status will change online soon so I can truly celebrate! For those still waiting, keep the faith!

Well, even though I had to resubmit the FP cards, I just send an email to ask on my status. Hope to get an answer, but I'm resigned to waiting at least another 30 days because of my error

Sounds exactly like my scenario. It's been a couple of days already since I've emailed them with no response. I'm just hoping to get my plastic before the new year.
