In this case, I don't think it is Biden they were worried about. I think they were worried about Trump or the next Republican president and wanted Biden to give them the "committee" now to prevent the next president from doing anything. Of course, like the War Powers Act, I doubt it would stand a court challenge no matter how it was done, if anyone wants to force it. And also of course, if someone did use the nukes without constitutional authority, or if they stopped someone when it was justified, the constitutionality is the least of our worries.

i have never understood, why the US is and has always given the saudis a pass. we were finally energy independent and exporting more refined product back to the world. we killed the oil rich arab nations because their whole economy is based on oil exports , i believe this why those nations came to the table to work towards peace or some form of it

I'm only being half facetious here. There are no races among humans, biologically speaking...because the taxonomy requires there to be a sub-species before a race is classified. Modern humans are Homo sapiens sapiens, and Neanderthals were Homo sapiens neanderthalensis. Biologically, that's an actual sub-species divide. And every one of the Founding Fathers and those of us whose ancestors immigrated here from Europe are all a small part Neanderthal. So...
