I have 2 GSDs myself and would not trust them to deal with strange people, especially someone in security who should be in a perpetual state of being alert on the property. Odds are high that my male GSD, Sauer, would simply try to make friends while my female, Autis, would likely try to make a meal out of the "intruder".
