I'm still new at this but the (Taurus PT-111 Millennium 9mm) has jumped into the lead without a doubt. It is on it's third (and final) trip back for light strikes :grumble Now waiting on the Board to make the decision to ship a replacement.

My worst gun was a 1911 by Auto-Ordnance. What a wretched piece of gear.

Hmmmmmmm let me think! "rlol" "rlol" :headscratch

Oh I think it is a Bersa Thunder 380...one that spends more time at the gunsmith than the gun range. So far it has had about 440 rounds through it and failed about 40% of the time! But it looks nice "rlol"

Steyr M9 (not A1). Loved it at first, love the trapeziod sites but after about 400 rounds, had a few FRB's, looked closed but couldn't pull the trigger. Slap the back of the slide and keep firing. Then it really got bad, slide would return completely to battery, firing pin indicator showed cocked, trigger would not move and neither would the slide. Had to take it down on the firing line, remove the live round, lube and reassemble the pistol and shoot anywhere from 1-3 magazines through it before it would lock up again. Lasted 20 rounds after a trip to the local smith.
Called Steyr and talked directly to one of the warranty/repair guys. I was informed that I had one of the first of these pistols shipped to the US and needed about 5 upgrades.
Shipped it to Steyr and about 4 weeks later with a list of about 20 parts that had been replaced. By looking at it, I think the only original parts were the slide and frame.
Ran 200 rounds through it flawlessly and sold it to buy a Sig since I still couldn't stand the safety.

Also, had a Llama Max-I 45 that I couldn't keep on an 8x10 target at 1 meters. Traded for a 12ga straight up.

So far I can say I don't have a worst gun purchase. Haven't had any problems with any of mine.
