Good call there Crossfire, convienient to about four counties easily. Not bad for Denton, Wise, Tarrant or NW Dallas. Plus I could pickup some ammo and  on their glass case, since my 7 months of unemployment has crimped the ability to add anything new to the safe. But the drought will be broken soon the vacation ends on Monday.

Knowledge and guns in one place, could life get any better?

I'm just hoping I see the registration in time to get me and up to three others in before it's full. I've noticed a lot of interest on this site for this. :anamatedbanana

I am still working on sponsorship. Both the Comet Conservatives and the Students For Concealed Campus Carry student organizations are defunct. Their leaders have moved on, and no one has taken up the challenge. I'm in contact with another student organization, and I'm hopeful that they will decide to sponsor the event. Until sponsorship is in place we can't set a date, but we're still shooting for October.

wgoforth, and other forum friends:

Although we have not received a final October date for the
DFS to be held at UTD in Richardson, TX, Charles is considering
giving it on Friday night, 10/22/2010 at Friendswood PSC, in the
shotgun building, from about 600PM-900PM.

This is also tentative, but it is a possibility for all Houston folks
and Forum Day attendees from anywhere to catch the DFS.

Unfortunately could not do Houston... can do Austin, SA and Metroplex. Is there still an intent to have it at one of these?
Thanks

Yeah, I was getting real excited about attending Forum Day when I realized it was in Friendswood south of Houston. Wish there was one held up here in DFW too. :cryin
