Congratulations, AdamJ1555. The last days of waiting for the license to get to you are the hardest.

AdamJ got his in 53 days, excluding 3 public holidays. It's getting better!

We'll I've been in the background under review for 5 days now..... I'm leaving for college station Friday would have been nice to have it

58 days and counting for me and I have not even gotten a status update yet.

Plastic arrived today. 58 days from upload to plastic.

I have a question. I actually submitted my application late December and completed my fingerprints first week of January. Got an update when I logged in my status reads : License Status: Application packet has been received from the applicant, the application is in progress. Show receipt

But my application, fingerprints, background check are highlighted in yellow with exclamation points. What does that mean?

it means there under review your status should change daily or every other day...when they turn green it means that step is completed...my status went from same as yours to mailed in a matter of 4 days...nothing to worry about and good luck

What this experience and the posts here have taught me is that it all in the luck of the draw (there's a pun in there somewhere). What is consistent is the patience. :)

My wife's status changed to "mailed" today. She turned all her documents in around the middle of December. I couldn't take the course with her. I was out of town that day. My stuff was turned in Jan. 6th. Maybe I get lucky and am only 2-3 weeks away.

Should be any day now!

I find it interesting how the State doesn't do these in order. I turned in everything by 12/6 and haven't seen one update yet. I see people that turned the paperwork in back in November are still waiting for the first update, too.
