Yup. Slow as molasses when it loads at all, "Too Many Connections" the rest of the time

it says too many connections when I click Active Topics.

I think the upgrade was a down grade.

Same issue here

Restart Apache and MySQL and see if/when problem comes back. Site might be getting crawled, or pages are hanging leaving sql connections open, and not closing them.

That's what I see and I reported the issue already a while ago. This is a known problem in some SQL configurations not terminating processes correctly.

Slow to load pages, and I am getting en error, usually when going to the 2nd page of a topic:

It seems to be back up to speed at this point.

It seems to be better, but I still sometimes get the SQL ERROR message when trying to view active topics.

Update for today. The active topics link does not give me an error message.

The whole thing is running like on steroids now, at least on my end. I just wish there would be one more feature, I need a typo preventer on top of the spillchecker.
