No Wally walk yet but so far we (the good lady and I) have carried our firearms (Glock 19 & Bersa Thunder 380 CC) into Carter's Country, then to lunch in Applebees.
Came home swapped guns with each other and went to church. We are a very 'huggy'church but nobody asked me what was tucked into my waistband.
Went to a gun store and picked up a new gun for the wife too...Springfield XD-9...sweet gun...but she is worth it.
This was my first real day for carrying and once the initial suspicion that everyone could see through my pants had gone the comfort level of carrying was pretty easy. Just forget it is there and act naturally and the public won't even bat an eyelid.

Oh wow! What a great day for you and her kevin! Congrats! And what a sweeettttt gun you got for her too!
(or did you have ulterior motives when you got that for her, you old fox you!)

Definate ulterior motives....I want the Glock to myself! lol That Glock shoots so sweetly and accurately that I just can't give it up!

Both are sweeeettt guns though.

I decided to call DPS today, just hung up the phone with a nice person who answered. I was told that all the information is in and she would give my info to the supervisor to send it off for printing.
Status on-line showed "Process...." so well see if that changes soon, I will be check daily now!

when they told me that , it was only 4 days later that it was complete .

It was ~108 days to get the plastic from start to finish.

That's exactly what I did. I simply called, and talked to a very nice person who said they would send it through. Couple weeks later I had my plastic.
