Has anyone written their state rep.? If so, any responses or promises of assistance?

Its extremely appalling that some folks in the April crowd who mailed their apps a full month after I did have received their plastic.

Yes, and Gov. And Senator.
I got a reply from Senator Nelson's office last Monday or Tuesday asking me to give them a call to give them some more info. Spoke to a nice lady there named Nicole who took my information to give to Sen. Nelson. She said was was shocked at how long I've been waiting and she'd look into it to see if they could get the process expedited.
Gov Perry's office immediately responded and said they'd pass my info along to Col. Beckworth for his assistance.
I'm not holding my breath on results but I'm hopeful something might get done. I'm no fool though. I know it may just be lip service as I'm not the only person to ask elected officials for help in this CHL process.
My CHL instructor has contacted Ms Valeria Fulmer as well about my app. They are friends and speak regularly.
Its a bit ridiculous for anyone to have to go to these lengths to get service from their state.
