we must have the same mailman - he knows when im waiting on something awesome to arrive and takes his sweet time delivering on the day it finishes its trip through the mail system.

Seems like mine is getting closer.
I called TXDPS yesterday and spoke to a real nice guy who checked on my application. He said that my "Born Out Of Country" documents had gone to a different department for further review. I'm hoping that my status changes to "Manufacturing" tomorrow.

they must be having a hard time manufacturing mine, due to my fugliness. mine showed 'manufacturing pending' on the 17th and its still stuck there.

Ok called today and talked to lady handling my application. After some discussion about massachusetts laws and their interpretations of them and texas laws and their view on mass laws, going over details and that I was not convicted of anything and that it says dismissed (but texas still views it as "differed judication" and that the records were sealed to please texas since they view it as differed. And both of us agreeing that dealing with out of state stuff basically sucks. She said she would approve the application and issue the license... That I should get it in about 2 weeks and that I would probably here from her supervisor also. So I guess I'm done? Almost...? Status still pending on site, she says I'm good. Time will tell.

Still pending for me. It's only been 27 days so I guess they have another 33 days to get me my plastic.

Don't feel too ba UK, my bg has been under review since 6/1. I mailed my app in on May 16. I've called twice and spoke to too different folks and the tell me everything is "fine" and I should be getting it shortly. They're obviously just trying to appease me. They mentioned very briefly that "maybe something came up in my bg review and they just had to make sure it was not a disqualifying event!l. I've never been arrested so this is just frustrating...I am pushing for Constitutional Carry" during our next Legislative session in 2013!
