They may be still processing feb apps but they're definitely doing march apps. So for all you non believers, my completed app was snail mailed on Mar 8th and today it's been received and pending background check. Yay!!

My status changed to background under review as of 4/26. I mailed my packet 3/11. DPS received it 3/12.

Status finally updated this morning (4/28)!
All green, Background Check under review.
DPS received my app on 3/13 so that was a 47 day wait.

WOW HOLY SMOKES DAAAMN! (new saying) :) did I just set a record for manufacturing pending??!! I mailed app in on Mar 8th! Just Friday my status finally changed from online application completed awaiting required materials, to pending background check and fingerprint review, AND TODAY (Following Sunday??!! Wow) fingerprints completed, background check completed, MANUFACTURING PENDING!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyy!

Sorry for yelling caps but YAYYYYYYY!! =D

Im so happy I may just do the Wally walk after all even though I still hate that store. :) I thought for sure I'd be waiting another 3-4weeks for background check and 1-2weeks for manufacturing.

Good luck all! Hope many of you share a similar experience and end this waiting game.

I hope I see an update soon, I am not far behind some of you. Keeping fingers crossed.

Strange happenings.

I previously posted;
2-11-13 Application completed online
2-19-13 Fingerprinted
2-22-13 Fingerprints rejected.
3-01-13 Fingerprinted again
3-02-13 Class completed
3-04-13 Paperwork sent Certified mail
3-07-13 Paperwork delivered and return receipt signed

4-21-13 status changed to "Background check under review"
The status change indicated "Fingerprints: Complete".

On Friday, 4/26/13 I received a letter from DPS stating my fingerprints were rejected and gave the phone number to reschedule with L-1. It said I had 90 days to get printed again or my application would be invalidated. There was no indication that I had already submitted a second set of prints on 3/1/13. I checked my status and it I was still "Fingerprints: Complete". I was dreading having to call and try to find out what happened to the second prints. On Saturday I checked and I was still "Fingerprints: Complete" and "Background Check under review". This morning I checked to see if somehow the Fingerprints were no longer complete. No change with them but my status in now:

4-27-2013 Background Check: Completed
4-27-2013 Concealed Handgun License: Manufacturing Pending.

One week in "Background Check"? This indicates the WEB updates are running very much behind. I hope my status changes to mailed before I get any more letters.
