My name is Scott and when I had to pick a username for my ISP in 1994 i lived in Dallas, so I made it ScottDLS. Just kind of kept that...for the last 16 years.

I spent 20 years in the Navy. As a sailor, time spent away from the ship or other place of duty was called liberty. I was an instructor for two years on the AN/SPY-1A RADAR and used to tell my students that I believed in maximum liberty. As long as the job was finished. In the case of my students that meant that as long as the material went out, they got it and did well on the tests they could count on maxlib.

I planned to move to San Diego and buy a boat to live on and charter out at the time and told them that my boat would be named Maximum Liberty.

Of course my conservative tendencies decided against that.

So I am maxlib.

It's my name. It's a common enough one that I don't feel I give up anything personal with it, and it reminds me to never say anything that I wouldn't say in person.

And I can remember it. :lol:

Well it's a pretty easy one for me as I am a painting and remodeling contractor. As to the "99" , really doesn't mean a dang thing. LOL.

You got the first and fourth one right which surprises me because it is such an uncommon name :D

#2 is a boy #3 is a girl and #5 is a boy

Dreamhopper - I have sleepwalked all my life. Even woke up on the roof of a motel in San Antonio once. I lost my leg above the knee in a car wreck in '94, now I dreamhop. :bigear:
