Police Seize Real Gun Disguised as Nerf Toy

Police in North Carolina found a real gun disguised as a Nerf toy while conducting a drug raid in Catawba County, north of Charlotte, this week.
The Glock 19 pistol, along with a 50-round drum magazine, had been painted blue and orange and labeled with the Nerf logo to look like a toy, the Catawba County Sheriff's Office said in a news release on Facebook.

IS this an example of concealment of an illegall;y possessed weapon or just horrendous taste? I don't think the shotgun was designed to fool anyone...

I remember seeing another similar to that previously.
Would that not be qualified for federal charges since it is a handgun with a shoulder stock or arm brace???

I can see how the police would be concerned about that one. It does look convincing as a toy gun.

Not to worry it only shoots Nerf bullets disguised as 9mm cartridges.
