"It appears that he had a rifle with several magazines of ammunition, entered the food court and began shooting," Ison said. Police believe an armed bystander "observed the shooting in progress and shot the shooter."

The mall patron who shot the man with the rifle was a 22-year-old man from Bartholomew County, Indiana, he said.

"The real hero of the day is the citizen that was lawfully carrying a firearm in that food court and was able to stop the shooter almost as soon as he began," Ison said.

On July 14, 2022, Breitbart News pointed to a Crime Prevention Research Study showing 60+ times that concealed carry permit holders stopped mass shooters between December 17, 1991, and May 25, 2022.

Gun control advocates stunned man who allegedly shot Indiana mall shooter labeled 'Good Samaritan'

Critics are lashing out after a man carrying a pistol stopped a mass shooting at an Indiana shopping mall, arguing the man should not be called a "Good Samaritan...."

"The term, ‘Good Samaritan’ came from a Bible passage of a man from Samaria who stopped on the side of the road to help a man who was injured and ignored," wrote CBS4 traffic anchor Justin Kollar on Twitter Monday. "I cannot believe we live in a world where the term can equally apply to someone killing someone… my God."

"The Good Samaritan paid for an unknown immigrant's health care out of pocket," comedian John Fugelsang wrote on Twitter. "The Good Samaritan did not shoot anyone. Jesus was not a fan of killing for any reason, including self-defense. But if these ammosexuals had ever read the Bible, they couldn't support the GOP or NRA."

"I don’t know who needs to hear this but when a 22-year-old illegally brings a loaded gun into a mall and kills a mass shooter armed with an AR-15 after he already killed three people and wounded others is not a ringing endorsement of our implementation of the Second Amendment," Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts said on Twitter.
I wonder if their opinions would change at all if their spouse and two young children were in that mall and the next potential targets of the deranged shooter? But how silly of me. Of course not. The only time situational ethics have any merit whatsoever is if someone on the far left chooses to apply them.
Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers credited the man with saving several lives by killing the shooter, saying they were grateful for his "quick action and heroism. Someone we are calling the ‘Good Samaritan’ was able to shoot the assailant and stop further bloodshed," Meyers said in a statement. "This person saved lives tonight. On behalf of the City of Greenwood, I am grateful for his quick action and heroism in this situation."
Psalm 82:4
Rescue the weak and needy;
Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

She ought to read the bible more: Exodus 21:23 "you are to take life for life"

Proverbs 10:20: The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value.

Her heart is clearly wicked.

Jesus was not a fan of killing for any reason
Well actually...

Matthew 10:34–36
English Standard Version
Not Peace, but a Sword

Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.

The antis are saying he was "illegally carrying" in the mall because it has "No Guns" signs posted. However, from my understanding, those signs have no force of law in Indiana. Someone in charge of the property/business must see someone carrying, decide they don't want a gun there, and then tell the carrier to leave. Then, if the carrier doesn't leave, the person in charge can call the police and report it as trespassing. So, those signs in that mall were as worthless against the man carrying as they were for the violent criminal he stopped. The antis just don't understand anything that happens outside of their "utopian" enclaves.
