I don't think it would be possible for me to love Texas more than I do right now. Yesterday, Rep. Slaton introduced a house resolution to notify the federal government that all of the privtely owned firearms, accessories, and ammunition in several counties were lost in a series of boating accidents. The resolution included telling them that there was no need for them to come start a registry or anything like that because there was nothing left to register.

The Armed Attorneys discuss this at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdSdNjKo9Ew (this is where I learned about it).

I should never, ever have taken my firearms with me on that Gulf of Mexico deep-sea fishing trip. :???:

But Steve's post reminds me. We had a separate sub-forum for the 2019 legislative session, but not one for 2021. I wonder if there'll be one for 2023 to help keep track of the bills, or will we just do it one-off in another category?
