Brookshires grocery stores

I first saw this sign at the Anna store and at a Spring store in Whitewright. I'm assuming all the stores in their footprint are so marked.
Was there an open carry incident in one of their stores or is this just more Mad Mommies driven nonsense.

I was in a Brookshire’s in East Texas several times this week while visiting there. Although I do not OC I always look for any signs and that store did not have any 30.07 or 30.07 signs. I will be back in a few weeks there so I will be looking.

You gotta love when someone in HR just makes up legal statutes
Edit to add: I suppose if someone DOESN'T have an LTC, then the sign does not apply? Since the sign clearly only indicates persons so licensed.
Would have been great to say: "In conformance with store policy and pursuant to Texas Statute 30.05, No person may openly carry a rifle upon these premises, subject to prosecution."

This legal gibberish sign is posted in Mineral Wells and Anna locations, per Texas3006.com
Brookshire Brothers corporate offices, and distribution warehouses are posted 30.06 & 30.07

Over here in Ar Brookshires recently put up no long guns signs, but don't need the Texas verbiage. It's also on their "Super 1" stores and Brookshires Market units. All went up at the same time. Never heard of an cause/incident that caused it. Possible the "Mad Butcher" store shooting in Fordyce, Ar south of me last year, but that was all from the parking lot.

What about a long gun that is concealed?

The Brookshires 30.07 sign is close to a proper 30.07 sign, but Brookshires has amended it to state "long gun" rather than "handgun", so technically this is not proper notice.
Opinions please.
SIA (1st time on the board in months, since it long ago fell off my "daily read" visits.)

It's proper notice of nothing. It's trying to prohibit open carry of a long gun by LTC? That makes zero sense. So a non-licensee is welcome to open carry a long gun? A 30.05 sign would be the correct one.

I must've looked at that ten times, and swore I read May. Getting old is a bitch.
