Along with the plaintiff TSRA joins in this action againt the NFA. Firearms Policy Coalition as well.

The plaintiffs in Jensen v. ATF include FPC Action Foundation, three individual citizens, Hot Shots Custom, Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and Texas State Rifle Association and the NRA.

A coalition of gun rights organizations filed a lawsuit in the Northern District of Texas on October 9, 2025, challenging the constitutionality of the National Firearms Act (NFA). The lawsuit argues that the NFA is no longer constitutional because a recent tax-repealing bill eliminated the taxes on many firearms regulated by the NFA, and the registration requirements are no longer tied to a legitimate tax purpose. Key plaintiffs include the FPC Action Foundation, Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and the Texas State Rifle Association.

Since the tax will be eliminated on 01-01-26 the premise is the registration process should also be eliminated. If you're interested in particulars look it up on the internet.

We can only hope they will prevail

The Four Boxes Diner has a good explanation for why we have to be careful which cases to litigate to remove SBRs and suppressors from the NFA.
