Howdy. New member here, but old concealed carry guy. This is similar, but different from some other types of information in this forum.
I have a couple of knives and tomahawks that I want custom Kydex sheaths made for. I figure that anyone who can custom make a holster ought to be able to do the same thing for a sheath, right?
I called Comp Tac and they said that they don't do that, so I thought I'd check here to see if there is someone around Houston who does this kind of work. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, Birds. I know about Brian Hoffner's stuff. I have carried a 1911 in one of his leather holsters for about 5 years and the darn thing just won't wear out!
I talked to Brian and he says that he can do it, but they are moving some equipment so it will be a month or two before he could make them. I was hoping for something a little sooner, if possible.

You might try your hand at making your own.

See THIS LINK for photos and instructions on making kydex holsters. It really doesn't seem all that difficult.

Or, if you want leather sheaths, check out THIS FORUM. Lots of good leather working information and postings showing some beautiful self-made knife sheaths.

I made this wet formed holster for my P3AT from information I obtained reading the forum. My first attempt at any leatherworking.
